The fact that we have to start putting no AI on videos that are long and historical is disgustingly stupid. I wish we didn't get to this point. Appreciate you doing that long time Watcher have enjoyed

My grandad Ron was severely injured in one of these raids. He was 19 years old and a marine commando. The story goes that a shell exploded in front of him, ripped open his stomach, he was the only survivor of his platoon. He was swam out by 2 other men to a MTB offshore, he begged to be left to die with his men but these two young lads wouldn't leave him. He spent the rest of the war in hospital, and survived till an old age.

If there are awards for YouTube videos, this should receive the highest. Your cartographical animations are superb and clearly outline the action. Congratulations and well done.

One of the best WW2 documentaries that I have seen . Obviously very well researched and not spoiled by AI narration .

I very much appreciate your documentaries - factual, well researched, well presented and no hysterics. Would you consider a video on Operation Aubrey? That was the task given to 47 Cdo on DDay. The objective was to capture Port en Bessin - without which there would have been no PLUTO supplying essential fuel until a deep water port could be taken. Several military historians have described it as the most spectacular feat on DDay. Major General Julian Thompson (of later Falklands fame) wrote: "In my opinion the operation by 47 RM Commando at Port-en-Bessin was one of the great feats of arms of any unit, Royal Marines, Army, Navy or Air Force of any nation in the Second World War.

Surely worthy of a superlative analysis by you.

Operation Frankton was phenomenal. I do feel sorry for the men who never made it back. Such bravery, such dedication to duty. May their memory continue to bless and inspire us all.

Two sides to a coin, AI or Battle Guide? It's Battle Guide every time! You are a wonderful researcher and for me, an even better orator! Thank you so much for giving us this wonderful information.

I now live near Saint Nazaire. I'm impressed by the way the French people still remember and honour the British dead particularly from the raid and the earlier catastrophic loss of the Lancastrian during the evacuation. USAF airmen are not for gotten either.
Vive la France !
