  James lives 3 doors from me. Know him well. He has 4 cars and 17 motorbikes. This video is just nonsense.

  Sounds pretty fishy when most of the cars are "rare development cars" with notes and such scattered around.

  Here are the actual James May Cars. <br><br>Saab 9-5, Vauxhall Cavalier, Mini 1275, Fiat Panda are always remembered. <br><br>F430 that he sold for a 458 Speciale. Recently he bought a 911 Carrera T. He used to own a Boxster from 2005 and 911 Carrera from 2010. He had a Triumph Vitesse. Rolls Royce Corniche that he sold because he&apos;s allergic to it and was really affected by it to the point he had to take a bath after driving it. He had a Bentley T2 that he raffled/gave away. Then he has some BMW I3 and Tesla.

  It’s just amazing how many of these cars were used for testing and having unheard of documentation and hand written notes.

  For such a rare and expensive car, the BMW&apos;s bonnet badge @<a href="https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=RUs4o3RCSL0&amp;t=1297">21:37</a> looks like it was installed with about as much accuracy as the info heard in this video.<br><br>Incredible to think James found any time to present shows and write books. &nbsp;It sounds like he spent all his time poking his nose into people&apos;s sheds and barns all over the UK and US, discovering numerous unique vehicles, usually with handwritten notes stashed inside panels documenting their history...

  Not quite up to date - he has expanded his collection with a magenta coloured Triumph Stag that he used in the final episode of The Grand Tour series which was entitled &quot;One for the Road&quot;. That car surprised everyone by being the only vehicle to survive the appalling African roads without breaking down.

  I have seen 2 videos exploring James May&apos;s car collection, and there isn&apos;t a single overlap. &nbsp;I bet if someone else did a similar clip there would be yet another entirely different collection. &nbsp;Plus there are multiple model examples of many of the cars shown, and apart from the Ferrari 308GTB, we never see May near any of them, and even the Farrari was a different one to the car originally featured.

  A very cool car collection! I once knew a good rally driver who drove a lot of powerful cars, but when he was at home he mostly only used a 1979 Suzuki Alto and was very happy with it!🚗🏎🎩
