  I refuse to assist communist governments. China is commie so I will refuse as much as possible buying anything made in China. With guns I definitely have a choice. I choose to refuse!

  About 6 years ago I purchased a Mossberg 590 for $600, and an extra Mossberg ribbed &nbsp;hunting barrel for an additional $200. I bought it as an extra gun for my grandsons who had their own guns already. It became a safe queen and was never used so I recently decided to sell it. I went to five different dealers, one of whom had sold it to me. The gun had never been fired and was in its original box along with the barrel in its original box. I had a hard time finding a dealer who would pay me $400 for both!

  Why the hell do we want to buy something from China? The hell&apos;s wrong with you. To hell with China. I will say our gun industry in the US is overpriced big time. They need to get their house in order.

  I have the Mossberg 590a1 retrograde and it didn&apos;t cost even half of that $1800 at about $800 and the retrograde I bought cost more than the regular 590a1 Mossberg.<br><br>And you can buy the Mossberg Maverick for around $200. Brand quality does mean something and a good brand has higher resale value too.

  No, I most definitely would NOT pick up a thousand dollar shotgun (unless I’m a lot wealthier) over cheaper shotguns. I’ll disassemble, sand, clean, and lube whatever I have to make it run like butter.

  i used to have a mossberg 500 years ago, have a maverick 88 now, i do want a mossberg 591, .... but the reliability of the 500 compared to the 88 is identical in my experience, &nbsp;both have worked flawlessly, in some ways i actually like the 88 a little better, holds 7 in the tube instead of just 4, and i can fire all loads including slugs out of the same 20 inch barrel, however the 500 had 2 barrels, one 18.5 inch, other 28 inch... only the 18.5 could fire slugs, the 28 was choked for tighter shot patterns, slug would mushroom it. ... so if you are specifically needing a tight shot pattern for things like skeet shooting or bird hunting, the 500 is better. other than that, over all the 88 a bit more versatile without stopping to change barrels, slugs a hair more accurate since 20 vs. 18.5 inches, . .. and could still put a pistol grip on it if &nbsp;wanted to, same as the 500, still makes a decent close quarters overall legnth, just 1.5 inches longer than the 500 set up the same way, 1.5 inches is almost nothing when you already holding a roughly 2.5 to 3 foot long thing anyway. &nbsp;both of them are great guns, both of them will do the job in general, just very minor differences that may or may not be important to your specific use is all.... oh and btw, even though the 88 is not drilled for mounts of any kind, you can get mounts made specifically for the 88 for optics and such, have not tried them myself, so no idea how well they work, but they are available.

  This is probably one of the most misleading videos I have seen in a while. You&apos;re talking about a semi auto, well engineered, very well tuned shotgun, compared to a pump action. You might as well be comparing a royal enfield motorcycle to a Lexus. Both have motors and wheels and use gas<br> But they are not the same machine
