Every time someone restores something, we are telling the world we don't want to be part of a throwaway culture and that's a win-win, good job, thanks for your video.

Wait a second... are you sure the attic you're talking about isn't mine? 🤣 Sayaka's Digital Attic strikes again!

Sure, let‘s have a part two. Retrobrighting is always so satisfying.🙂

Part 2, yes please! I must say, you're an inspiration. Makes me very happy to see young people taking an interest in old tech <3

    Hi Kari.
I’ve been watching your videos for a long time now and find them very interesting.
The parts I always struggle with when watching you and others is washing big things (like the case) 7:12 in a washing up bowl where you can only fit the ends of the cases in it then having to turn it over or around to get to all of it.
When ever I am doing anything this size or bigger, there are lots of different size storage boxes with different Heights, Lengths and Depths like the ones you can store under your bed that are usually clear plastic.
So with these, you can lay the cases in the trays fully submerged and so you can do the whole case in one go and keeping it under water.
They even come with lids so you can leave things in them to soak for a while or overnight etc.
I just thought I would let you know as it isn’t life changing, but it certainly does help.
Love your videos and I watch out for more from you.

"It does look like someone has voided the warranty on this before so I don't have to worry about that." That gave me a good chuckle 😂

Everything looked absolutely fantastic at the beginning of the video. I almost couldn't believe that the device was still running smoothly after almost 35 years. It's good that you clarified that some parts did need to be replaced. Greetings from Germany

Putting aside that you are fun and clever, the fact that you are young and interested in the stuff that made my generation is amazing. Appreciating the history of the modern world is a rare thing, usually it's a case of 'omg that's SO old'. Keep going, you are inspiring

Years ago I had a Amiga 2000. Bought it new. Gave it away but loved every minute I had it🙂
