  I am a high school teacher and my students ask me why I don't have kids. My go to response is "I have to deal with you students all day, why would I want to go home to more?" And every time they are like "oh facts".

  For me it’s the over stimulation with having to work full time and being a mom. There is no village and even the dad might not stick around. Sounds to hard. I’m happily childfree.

  Baby boomer parents sucked. Ask GenXers. Parents were busy doing drugs and partying to give two shits. We basically raised ourselves. I personally started babysitting a two year old when I was five years old. I moved out at fourteen and no one gave a crap. Now, I'm happily married with a thirty year old son. The world does suck. It's unfortunate that social media has destroyed everything. I pray the younger generations don't give up because no matter how bleak, life truly is worth it. Stop trying to have champagne lifestyle on a beer budget. Stop believing life will ever be perfect and fair. Forget what others think and learn to love yourselves. Good luck. My heart goes out to you. Never give up hope.

  Dating feels like a marketplace where u are constantly evaluated. Gone are the days where u become friends then lovers. We become too busy to do so.

  What shorty said at <a href="https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=RPM_BgvctVI&amp;t=210">3:30</a> is the most accurate answer on why most people don’t want kid. I have a son and he’s expensive and a handful but he brings me so much joy with every dada.
