There's for you, thanks for your music.

Fallen God...

Once worshipped by thousands,
his name was carried through the years,
whispered in temples, carved in stone,
echoed through a thousand prayers.

He stood above the mortal crowd,
a crown of stars upon his head,
believing time would bow to him,
believing he could never fall.

But kingdoms fade,
and statues crack.
The voices disappear.
The hands that once reached out to him
no longer know he ever stood there.

Now weeds grow where altars burned,
and dust has claimed his throne.
No songs remain to praise his glory,
no faithful voice calls him home.

Once, even the heavens knew his name.

Now, even the silence
has forgotten him.

He was a god to thousands...

but time made him a stranger,
even to himself...

 JOURNAL OF THE IMMORTAL TRAVELER
Day 7,843 — The Melodic Fabric of the Void

Once again, the journey has consumed my shore.
The reckoning of suns has lost its edge; eras dissolve when your mind is the only vessel capable of plying the void until running aground on worlds that feel like the exhalation of a dream.
Today, my feet have trod upon new ground.
I have named it Elyndra.
Before me unfolds a vast silence. A blue mist shrouds the valley, and the stone ribs of this world claw at a leaden sky that promises rain.
Yet the landscape has an absolute master.
Reclining against the mountain, a mineral titan rests in eternal stillness.
He is not dead; he is merely waiting.
He wears a crown forged from bedrock itself and a frayed cloak that was stone before it became skin. His features, stern and noble, sink into the shadows, while the rest of his body seems to yield once more to the slope that birthed him.
I know not what chisel freed him from the mountain, or if his origin is the stone itself, pulsing in human form. Perhaps the statue is merely his chrysalis.
As I hold my breath, a faint, resonant melody emerges—subtle, dissolved in the cold air of the plain. It has neither source nor end; it is the very breath of the valley.
I take it into my own silence.
And for a moment, a heartbeat I thought long dead resurges in my chest.
The traveler’s melancholy.
Perhaps it is the certainty that this realm, with its sleeping colossus and its perpetual song, will also dissolve. And my journal will be its only grave before the void summons me once more.
