A tabby-cat. A finnish farm-cat. They need a peaceful home and a human at home almost all the time. 😊 Greetings from Finland

Thank you for mentioning the suffering of Scottish Fold cats, a breed which, here in the UK, because of the pain it suffers, is not recognised by the Governing Council of the Cat Fancy (cat equivalent of the Kennel Club) so cannot be shown and used to make money. It wouldn't surprise me if the Sphynx's aggression is born from the insecurity of having no protective coat and deformed whiskers. The breeding of all animals deformed by selective breeding or which are a perpetuation of a mutation that causes health issues, needs to be banned for what it is - animal cruelty,

All of my cats have been the feline equivalent of mongrel, of a mut. My tuxedo was aggressive and very territorial. My Burma like cat was totally affectionate, as was a long hair all black.. My Orange tabbies were friendly too.. overall I've found that tuxedos are the most skittish, and easiest to freak out.

And they all came to me, I never sought them out.

I had a bengal. She was a lap cat. She loved the water, loved to jump and run. She never showed any aggression. She would get angry at me if I left for the weekend and would pee on my travel bag. She was very vocal. She was a wonderful cat and lived for 23 years.

I had a tuxedo cat with tempermant of an Abyssynian. Extremely possessive. No other animals or children allowed.Extremely protective. He would sleep on the corner of my bed nearest the door and would growl if anyone approached while I was sleeping. I had to keep the door shut so he could not attack anyone walking by. Incredibly intelligent. Incredibly vicious. He would attack me when I went to leave the house. Attack when I came home. Punishing me for going out and leaving him alone. Oh yeah. 18 pounds of teeth and claws. lol He was the best cat I ever had. My best friend for 17.5 years. He wasn"t always vicious. There were times I could pet him and he liked it. Then his pupils would dilate and it was time to get your hands clear real fast. lol

I think it's cruel to genetically modify various breeds where they have to deal with chronic pain as they grow older.

I knew a few pixie-bobs, spicy for sure. But they didn't hold a candle to my semi-feral, tortoise shell huntress. She was ghost pepper spicy!
