N.B. He's used the term MAP 'filter' & 'sensor' interchangeably in this video (clearly knows the difference, just a slip of the tongue). Please note - the part you're after is the MAP filter (cheap), not the sensor (expensive!).<br>The turbo reads the intake air pressure off of a tube leading to the MAP sensor, this filter filters any air that goes in that tube - keeping the sensor clean.<br><br>A dirty sensor can make the turbo mis-read (under-read) the pressure, & over-boost as a result.

These bits of information are pure gems. Have a d4d and will certainly be looking at that. Would love to see a video on any tips on how to keep injectors healthy.

can a damged or blocked map filter this cause overboosting on the 1kd? 4 days ago I've noticed a difference in sound, and I have a small siren noise
