  <a href="https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=RKLzxSWZ8OQ&amp;t=463">7:43</a> As an Asian instrument connoisseur (and owner), This one hurt me. &nbsp;<br>That is actually a Chinese Sanxian, or &quot;三弦&quot;, and you played it with a Tsugaru Shamisen Bachi. &nbsp;<br><br>It evolved into an Okinawan Sanshin &quot;三線&quot;, <br>then the multiple different variants of Shamisen &quot;三味線&quot; from there.<br><br>The biggest Different between the Shamisen and the other two are: &nbsp;<br>Not using snake skin, the skin always is on both sides and the body is much squarer and larger. &nbsp;<br>The Shamisen uses a&quot;Doukake&quot; or body cover, like an arm-rest that&apos;s only on the top, &nbsp;<br>whereas the Sanxian and Sanshin have a &quot;money belt&quot; around the majority of the body.

  So note on playing the shamisen. There&apos;s actually a piece of cloth (yubikake/yubisuri) that you wear between your thumb and index finger of your neck side hand to reduce friction.

  Whenever I see the shamisen &amp; baachi come out, I always immediately think of Zenitsu playing it during the Entertainment District Arc of Demon Slayer 🤩 Also good effort of the Megalovania rendition!

  I played the taiko drum game at an arcade. It had a bigger drum, and I got to play Chala Head Chala from Dragon Ball Z.
