Neither of them miss a beat. <br><a href="https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=RJv2-_--EY4&amp;t=221">3:41</a> - How does Keith get that floor tom on top of his kit so quickly?!? And then tosses it over his head and comes back in perfectly on beat!!!!<br><a href="https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=RJv2-_--EY4&amp;t=378">6:18</a> - When did Keith have a chance to pour water on his snare? Listen to John’s “opera” voice!!!!<br><a href="https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=RJv2-_--EY4&amp;t=401">6:41</a> - NO band has ever played with more energy.   Only John Entwistle could be standing on the side of the stage, playing his heart out, singing incredible falsettos, and only be thinking about what he’s gonna wear tomorrow

  I gotta say, The Rolling Stones is a fantastic band, but inviting The Who to their TV special show was like presenting your taller, better looking friend to your girlfriend.

  This was the reason The Rock and Roll Circus was not officially released until 1996. Apparently the Stones were so jealous of The Who’s performance they could not let themselves release the Rock and Roll Circus. The Who were that good.

  The Who didn’t steal this Stones show, no. They descended from a van, ran up to this show, pointed an AK-47 gun at it, cloroformed it, kidnapped it, tied it up, called the Stones for ransom, seduced the show meanwhile, convinced it to join as an accomplice, married it in Vegas, collected the ransom, ran away with the show, and had twelve kids with it while living a life of idle luxury in Rio.
