  I've heard SO many comments from Americans referring to or worried that a young person (12-14) is doing "child labor" 🤣🤣🤣 We are so removed from hard work here it's crazy. Just because a child isn't playing video games or on a smart phone and are doing physical work or chores does not mean they are forgoing education to do hard labor 12 hours a day in dangerous conditions...  Letting children do a lot for themselves creates good self-esteem. How many of us rolled our eyes when our mothers taught us to do our own laundry, cook and clean? I was SO grateful to be the only one who knew how to do these things and take care of myself when I went off to college. Flee from idleness. Hard work is good for the soul! 💪🏽

  Involving children in daily tasks that need to be done in a home is just education! It’s stuff that will help them when they move out :)

  Yes. I am so bad at bedtime. I need to hide my phone in a different room. I hate being addicted to my phone. I miss the house landline phone!

  I don&apos;t understand how people don&apos;t give their children a sense of responsibility but expect them to grow up to &nbsp;become productive adults. That just baffles me.
