  This is one of the reasons why Serena stood up for herself. Serena took all of the racist name calling so that girls coming up behind her could also stand up for themselves. We love to see it.

  They cut out where Siegemund sat down and Coco was like.. she&apos;s not allowed to sit down lol basically Coco is playing by the rules and Siegemund acts like she can do whatever she wants because the 1st set of their 2nd game lasted so long.. Coco just has more endurance, &nbsp;period.

  At <a href="https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=RGc7Quk91uk&amp;t=4470">1:14:30</a>, the commentators chastised Coco for “getting a bit annoyed” with how long Siegemund was serving, and said to just “let her play”?!!! What horrible commentators. Supporting someone for breaking the rules and in general being COMPLETELY uninteresting and not worth listening to!!! Great playing from Coco, she’s becoming a real star!!! ❤

  The commentators get on my nerves! If it were Coco burning the clock, they would be against her! It’s the same way they treated Venus and Serena! Just get on my nerves!

  Apparently everyone else can be aggressive towards umpires and it not be an international news story, but whenever a Black woman does it, everyone loses their mind.

  How is it “pretty much expected” that the German player didn’t shake hands at the end of the match with the umpire? Totally unacceptable and I can only imagine the conversation had it been Coco who didn’t show respect to the umpire!

  Rules are rules. If you can’t play competitively DON‘T play in a competition. Gauff did nothing wrong by demanding Siegefried play by the rules. If Siegefried can’t keep up she shouldn’t play. I can’t keep up, but I’m not a pro athlete. Edurance is part of tennis. This isn’t a kindergarten class where everyone gets a participation trophy it’s the us open.
