  Sephora is so expensive. I don’t understand how these parents can afford to buy all of these expensive products for kids who don’t even need it. It’s crazy. It’s just a way for these parents to show off!!

  I recently had a discussion with women at my work (most of us were kids in the 90s-00s) about how there is no more tween/teen girl culture. Things now are just for little girls or grown women. There used to be a phase in-between. There used to be make up and toiletry products, clothing, handbags, stationary and even books, magazines, TV shows and movies for this age group. It was a fun phase of life about bonding with your friends at a sleepover party over makeovers and expressing your creativity with crazy blue eye shadow and green glitter nail polish. Not buying expensive stuff for your mother to post about. Also teen make up usually was affordable so teens could buy it with allowance or babysitting money.

  The real disturbing problem is the mothers so desperate for popularity on social media they exploit their kids and pretty much screw their innocent skin and mental health up . This world is twisted

  saddest part to me is that they go "they need to learn about skincare early" while letting them absolutely destroy their skin so when they really do need skincare they'll need to actually get medical grade stuff or oral medicine to "fix" whatever the hell they caused

  My mom allowed me to start wearing makeup myself when I was 12, but I didn&apos;t actually start wearing it until age 13. I only use mascara, lip gloss, and eyeliner, and I only wear it for certain occasions. This is ridiculous 😭
