In-game though, the shell&apos;s path is modeled in a way that it normalizes.

  Even though SAM is not explained here, I think it&apos;s worth noting the Starstreak is probably the only APHEFSDS missile in the entire game, since it launches 3 guided darts with around 450 grams of explosive material inside them.

  Sabot explained: Sabot or APDS is a shell that shatters upon impacting anything in war thunder. 500mm of penetration? Think again, you actually only get 100mm. <br><br>The more you know

  Without watching I can tell you there are three types of shells in the game from my observations:<br>1. The shells that don&apos;t pen<br>2. The shells that simply disappear when they hit<br>3. The shells that pen but only cause one component to go yellow<br><br>Edit: I actually forgot the fourth type of shell that everybody else has that will always one shot me XD
