This was on Monday, January 12th, 2026 at the Warehaus (officially in Englewood, CO). She had performed (without band---using backing tracks) the night before in the main space at Merritt Wellness at 23rd and Irving in Northwest Denver.  The band does a really good job of backing KELS---especially given that this is the first time these four had performed publicly together.

My friends and I are talking about how much we want you to come back to Denver. We have about as many venues as Austin. Fun town, I swear. Hugs.

First of all Kels, I’ve heard you say you’re looking for your “target audience”. Stop girl. You ain’t gotta look. Your vocals are so raw and soulful the winds of fame are headed your way soon enough. The more your unapologetically “Kels”, the higher the rest of us who love your vocals get to fly with you!<br>Second…I fucking dig your vibe chik, Thanks for sharing!

Your sound and your voice really belong to another era. Let’s hope people realise that great voices and songs are timeless. I’d be delighted to hear much more from you in the future. Ideally, one day live in my home town of Hamburg, Germany.
