Hello!👋I recently had the privilege to speak with Mark Lewisohn, Simon Weitzman and Chris Purcell about their new documentary film, Evolver '62. I even got the chance to pick Mark's Beatles-packed brain on a few YCUT Beatles mysteries. Enjoy! (...and yes, new full episodes are coming!) :_Paul::_Ringo::_George::_John:

It’s a crime that Mark was cast out of Apple. All his replacements (no need to name them), don’t come close to his level of detail. The super deluxe sets suffered from Mark not being included

I hadn't heard it until the Ed Sullivan show...ended up owning every album they put out. Life has been better with the music of the Beatles in it.

When I was 8 years old I lived in Edinburgh, Scotland in 1962. There was a famous winter storm that year and evryone was indoors. Thank Your Lucky Stars came on the TV and Beatles were part of the show. I was fanatical from that time forward. My family moved to USA, Detroit, Michigan in 1963. In 1964, my favorite group ( unknown in America) was scheduled to be on EdSullivan. My parents let me stay up late to watch it ( oh my goodness there they were again. My mom, Bless her heart , bought two tickets to the live show at Olympia Stadium in downtown Detroit. She then drove me and my lillte chum Jimmy to the concert, and parked outside and waited while we went in to the performance, SOOOOOO memorable for a 10 year old. and a lovely memory of my great Mom as well...

I’d go to that gig in 1962 which apparently wasn’t promoted properly, and only a handful of people turned up. The boys did their full contracted sets. What a treat to see them at full power with no hype.

Mr Lewisohn is a gift for all fans, and i respect his clarity and passion. <br>Re Dear Prudence, I watched a recent video by a drummer, and his theory is that Paul drums on the basic track, with Ringo overdubbed in the 2nd half.

If I'd a time machine I'd go to the night in The Cavern that The Beatles and The Pacemakers got together to form a band. A) Because my Dad was there and told me about it. And b) because Pete Best confirmed to me that it happened when we met

To paraphrase your famous intro Raymond 'Once you recognise how much I resemble Mark Lewisohn, you can't unsee this...'😎

We were four guys, that, eh, I met Paul, said, "Do you wanna join me band?", you know, and then George joined, and then Ringo joined, we were just a band who made it very, very big, that's all. John Lennon
