  I'm an elementary science coach working at two inner city high poverty schools.  My entire job is to support my teachers in making science hands on for our most vulnerable youth.  I've spent innumerable hours outside of my contract time developing labs and also spent an unfathomable amount of personal money financing labs for our students.  Needless to say, this literally brought tears to my eyes.  Literally life changing to make this all free.  I feel so supported!  Deepest gratitude.

  I love it when people who have money and a big platform actually DO SOMETHING with their time and resources to solve problems they identify, versus lecturing people without power, money or influence about how we should behave and/or think.   Good on you man.

  For me, my 8th grade science teacher was "the one" who had this impact on me.  40 years later, I still remember the first day, when he entered the classroom dressed as a wizard, and put a drop of water on some cotton on a ring stand, and then made "magic hand motions" until what we later learned was a bit of sodium metal in the cotton caught fire.  He was my favorite teacher ever,  and I was lucky enough to reconnect with him 20 years later randomly as the IT support person at his wife's business, which was awesome..
