  Great show, guys! Nice to see some new faces in the community. Hughes and Trate sounds a bit like Hughes Thrall to me. 😉 <br><br>I’ve been a Neal supporter since my Prog Posse and I first discovered the debut Spock’s Beard CD in 1995/6. Dude’s a master musician, melody maker and songwriter. At this moment in time, Mr. Morse has even surpassed Kerry Livgren - of Kansas fame - as the greatest American progressive-rock songwriter. Boom!<br><br>I’ve seen Spock’s, the band, play live at least half a dozen times… mostly with Neal at the helm. One time, during the encore, Neal and drummer Nick D’Virgillio swapped places on a cover of the Genesis chestnut 🌰 “Squonk.” Nick sang lead vocals and Neal slammed behind the skins, baby. He even nailed all of Phil’s phenomenal fills during this performance! I think that this was also the show that the Morse brothers played the same acoustic guitar during “The Doorway.” Neal was behind his brother Alan as they jammed out together on one acoustic guitar! I’ve never seen that before - or since - at a rock concert! <br><br>I’m a fan of both Mr. Morse, and the terrific Todd Evans, too!   One of many things that makes Mike Portnoy such a great drummer is the fact that he does not play the same way in the bands he plays with. I am relatively new to the Neal Morse fan club, and I&apos;m finding it difficult to find his catalog on CD. Similitude is an album that escapes my reach. Sellers want astronomical funds for it in a near new to new condition. I have this album as a live album in Tilburg 2017 2CD/2DVD set, but sure it is the full album. One thing is for sure, Neal Morse, the band, Transatlantic bands has consistently put out more great music album to album series than most bands out there. I think it is because of Neal Morse and Mike Portnoy being able to separate themselves from each band but maintain a standard of excellence in music content both musically and lyrically to keep the listener&apos;s attention. Fantastic catalog and your explanation to your ranking was done in such a way for a new person to understand the catalog. Well Done!!

  Last night I listened to Disk 1 several times of An Evening of Innocence &amp; Danger: Live in Hamburg. And just in case you don&apos;t know the track listing, here goes: 1 -Do It All Again; 2 - Bird on a Wire; 3 - Your Place in the Sun; 4 - Another Story to Tell; 5 - The Way it had to be; 6 - Bridge Over Troubled Water; and 7 - Waterfall. My initial reaction is that Your Place in the Sun, which I equate as similar with to a Steely Dan tune, which isn&apos;t bad. However, it is out of place to the rest of CD1. I thoroughly enjoyed their version of Bridge Over Troubled Water, a Simon &amp; Garfunkel tune. Have you listened to Elvis Presley singing this song. It is pretty spectacular. Also Jon Bon Jovi and Ritchie Sambora sang it for a benefit and the guitar work is fantastic. There are YouTube videos for both, just do a search on the song to find them. I highly recommend the listen. This live album of the Neal Morse Band is fantastic.

  My number 1 has been a lock since the moment of its release, but my 5 hasn’t resonated with me like the others.<br><br>5.) The Great Adventure <br>4.) Innocence &amp; Danger<br>3.) The Grand Experiment <br>2.) L.I.F.T.<br>1.) The Similitude Of A Dream<br><br>My #1 is simply out of this world. Saw it performed twice (once in St. Charles, IL, and the other At &nbsp;Morsefest). “Breath Of Angels” just about brings me to tears. Nice episode.<br><br>Ps: Eric Gillette’s The Watcher is pretty special, too. Only played it once, but want to study it to review over on mine.
