  Pouring a beverage is never faster than just handing a passenger the full can. &nbsp;They pour into cups because they can serve less and save money.

  Perk #6...Yeah right. Like the attendant is going to bring out a full dessert selection for one passenger in economy. The rest of the plane would go ballistic.

  The problem with trying to get a better seat is that it seems there are so few flights nowadays that aren&apos;t fully booked. If you really need a window or an aisle, it&apos;s best to pay the cost and book it when you buy your ticket.

  I am 68 yrs old and travel a lot. A number of times I have requested the cabin-crew for a more comfortable seat (in-spite of the plane being half empty!!) but have been rudely refused. There are many in this category - Air India, Lufthansa, British Airways, Air Canada, Etihad, Saudia, KLM and some more on domestic routes. You are always treated like any other passenger. So just relax and enjoy your flight and never expect any freebies from airlines.

  My friend shared this experience when he once spent an entire 8-hour flight squeezed into a middle seat while an empty row sat two rows ahead. He genuinely thought moving wasn’t allowed unless the crew announced it.
