  Rabbit Hole isn't at all complicated. Superficial love, lust as a coping mechanism, being simply fed up with the state of romance; it's not rocket science, it's just sex, guys.

  i think <a href="https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=RAodNh3dkPc&amp;t=269">4:29</a> is the singer talking to herself. In the song she copes by having a bunch of no-strings-attached flings, and the lyrics mention things like (from memory) &quot;fell in love, felt like dying&quot;. This seems to be her getting &quot;hopeful&quot; again about <b>romantic</b> love and then telling this devoted (little ms. devotion) part of her to leave, close the door on hope (for a deep relationship)- then, when the other person isn&apos;t &quot;going home after all&quot; she gives into &quot;one more chance&quot;<br>idk man it&apos;s late.

  My take on the song lyrics is (I should note that the English translation i know is the one Rachie used): the singer (Miku), probably due to previous experiences, has lost the ability to tell the difference between romantic attraction and sexual attraction, &quot;Loving and liking, they&apos;re just one and the same, same,&quot; and so whenever she is attracted to someone she just try&apos;s to sleep with them no strings attached telling them that if they are looking for something more they should leave, &quot;Mr. Commitment, you can find the еxit over to the right.&quot; this cycle of; find someone, sleep with then, leave, continues on for multiple years until the lyric in the second half of the final chorus; &quot;How many years has it been since I felt like—?&quot; where she does fall in love with someone and she realises that she does want more than just sex, the outro can be interpreted in two way, the one I&apos;d prefer it to go, the singer does fall in love with someone and her and that person do end up in a relationship because of the lyric; &quot;Why, why, why, you&apos;re just the same as me,&quot; but the interpretation I think is more likely is that at the end the person the singer falls in love with is actually just the same way that the singer was at the start of the song, the reason I think this interpretation is more likely is because of the other lyrics in the outro, namely; &quot;My, my, my, you&apos;re just a little freak&quot; and &quot;Once more, deeper into this rabbit hole we go.&quot; her calling the person she fell in love with a freak can be interpreted both ways though, her calling them a freak because they are only interested in sex which society would mostly see as wrong or &apos;freak&apos; behaviour, or her calling then a freak because they are interested in romance which she, for so many years, said was weird. The &apos;going deeper into the rabbit hole&apos; however is much more conclusive because the whole song has been talking about a rabbit hole, being only interested in sex and nothing more, so it only makes sense that in the outro she is singing about the same rabbit hole.<br><br>sorry that I wrote so much, and that I sounded like a nerd, I just kept having more to write.

You shouldn&apos;t do that. &nbsp;Close the door; don&apos;t have hope.<br><br>&quot;I told you from the start, don&apos;t even try&quot; I&apos;m assuming before every relationship/fling, Miku makes it clear to her partner that it&apos;s never going to be a serious or long-lasting relationship.<br><br>&quot;Little Miss Devotion, the exit&apos;s over there...&quot; The door was left open and her partner&apos;s hope came in, the hope of having a devoted relationship. Miku tells the hope to leave, her partner should abandon what hope they have.<br><br>&quot;Oh, so not going home after all...? HOP, STEP, grrrrr ONE MORE CHANCE! &quot; Hope doesn&apos;t want to leave. In other words, her partner still wants to hope that the relationship will become real. Whether through casual dates or sex, &nbsp;Miku is basically telling her partner that this is their chance to try. After all, she knows it won&apos;t be long before she moves on to someone new.<br><br>That&apos;s just how I interpret the official English lyrics. The actual Japanese lyrics could be saying something completely different.
