I'm a hunter we drain the blood but if you don't do it right away it will get stuck in the meat. Tom is right and he is truly connecting the dots on this that even clarified this for me. Thanks for pointing all of this out brother, great discussion.

I really enjoyed the brief discussion over the last question (the one on Nineveh). I think you both handled your answers well. Had there been a little more time, I think it would have been edifying to dig into the conscience and what the Holy Spirit says about the conscience through Paul in Romans. I think we often forget when talking about torah observance that the knowledge of good and evil, innate in mankind post fall, is an understanding that originates in our Creator. We just weren't designed to gain that knowledge in that manner. We were intended to walk with Him in the cool of the day, bringing everything before Him continually and grow in His instruction. I believe that Eden was a picture of the relationship we now have access to by abiding in Christ, and what we have now is also a picture. Our current walk is a picture of the way we will relate to Him when we know him as we are known and no longer see through a glass darkly.

In my mind, let Scripture say what it says. To interject assumptions changes the intent of the text.

We must lovingly but firmly continue in our defense of the supremacy of Christ and the New Covenant. Thank you Dr. Solberg. As always, great content. 🙏

Thank you Tom Martincic for taking the time to go through your points. Its really helpful in these discussions when people are not jumping all over the place to make an argument. When looking at the blood command you spent time on 2 verses that are seemingly contradicting and showed that they are indeed not contradicting. Its sad to people jumping to extremes to try to prove someone wrong (this reminds me of liberal minded people) instead of thinking about what the principal is that in being spoken of in the command. I think the Torah demands us to meditate upon it as some laws are not always so black and white and with many we need to really think, meditate and study in order to really understand them. Thank you again.
