  Jeanine Pirro is excellent expressing this information which you have also spread with this channel the Alltel unit cannot just make a key from for any car and drive away with it. The system the thieves were using is a multi step process. The process involves a maintenance shop that is being paid off to allow access to your vehicle so that the numbers can then be copied so that keys can be made and when your car is out of the shop, then they can use the the oculus system to get into your car so it’s a combination process of using maintenance shops so the bottom line be careful where you take your car for repair

  Spent 40 yrs in IT and what amazes me is how eager people are for digital banking, digital money, digital security (locks for homes, cars, businesses ect).  People I can say with absolute certainty there is NO SUCH thing as secure access in the digital space.  It is simply a matter of when not if you secured system is hacked and you lose everything.  You have no clue how unsecure everything is that is tied electronically.

  Horse thieves were frequently hanged by the public, and with cars being the modern day horse and wagon while severe it would cut down on repeat offenders in a old school way

  My mothers 2024 Infiniti Q50 was stolen with some type of similar system in December. The theft was all captured on 3 security cameras. From walking up to the car, to driving away took less than 2 minutes. The cops are not sure what was used, but the thief just stood next to the car with some kind of box, then the lights flashed, and he got in and drove away, all in less than 2 minutes! All the parts of the car theft described here is what happened to moms car. Stole the car, disabled tracker, parked in a concrete parking structure, etc. But, moms car was recovered, because the car had a second tracker the thieves did not find. The car was gone for 2 weeks, but recovered. There was still damage though. The thieves damaged the factory wiring harness so severely trying to kill the tracker, the insurance was going to total the car with 7k miles. In the end it cost nearly $18k to fix damage and took almost 4 months to get get parts and repair. This is real and happening!

  In 2015, the guys at Toyota looked at me like I was completely insane when I asked for a stripped down Corolla with ZERO power options and a manual transmission. It has an old fashioned key, no remote lock or start, and 3 pedals. New cars are complete shit.
