It was inevitable. They were telling human- lion coexistence story ignoring the impending danger. 60% of lions are living outside reserve forest, mostly dependent on cattles rather than wild preys- was a ticking time bomb. Gujarat government was ignoring the suggestion of removing some lions to Kunho. Now Kunho is home to imported cheetahs. They forgot just increasing number is not successful conservation. Preserving habitat and prey base are also important parts of conservation.

अवस्थी जी, Babbar Sher की जनसंख्या ज्यादा नहीं हुई बल्कि इंसानों की जनसंख्या बहुत बढ़ गई है। बब्बर शेर तो अभी भी एंडेंजर्ड स्पीशीज मेंआते हैं।
