  I must say that this is, musically speaking, the best concert I've ever seen/heard in my 68 years on this earth. Hats off to Mr. Vince Mendoza and the WDR BIG BAND and the WDR FUNKHAUSORCHESTER, the sound engineers, lighting crew and everyone involved. I believe that Curtis Mayfield would be so very proud of this MAGNIFICENT tribute!!!

  FINALLY! A worthy tribute to the late, Great Curtis Mayfield!  He deserves this & so much more love. Love the orchestra, Ledisi, and Bilal!  Great to see them both!!

  This is great. I cried and I NEVER cry.  Bilal is great. Curtis Mayfield was the GOAT. Ledisi, our very own Oakland girl who taught music at Berkeley  High School once upon a time  — is great. We’re a winner. This orchestra is great - what a loving tribute. Exquisite ‼️Curtis smiles, heaven bumps. Love this❤

  This concert was absolutely the best time spent in front of my TV.  Being a Chicago girl my music life was all about Curtis Mayfield. Thank you WDR Big Band
