The show was recorded for Swedish National Radio’s Pop ’63 in front of a well-behaved studio audience, with production handled by engineer Hans Westman.<br><br>Because of how highly regarded this performance is, I wanted to sync it to video, to give this live appearance a visual element. I did my best to match the audio with footage, primarily from Drop In, a Swedish live pop show The Beatles filmed just days after this radio concert. When Drop In footage wasn’t available, I used other sources.<br><br>The biggest challenge was &quot;You Really Got a Hold on Me&quot; since only about 15 seconds of footage existed. To make it work, I had to use editing tricks and clips from other songs.   In one of the last interviews with John days before he was taken from us. John mentions that the Sweden gigs they did were the best live performances they ever did. This is clearly evident as there is no screaming during the songs and it is saved for after the close of each.

  I was lucky enough to win 4 Beatles tickets from Cousin Brucie to see The Beatles at Shea Stadium, NY. Their first US concert in the USA. 😊 it was a great day!

  A fan since &apos;64, and collecting since &apos;75, yet I am only now realizing the audio performance on many high quality bootlegs, (often sped up), is an entirely different performance than the &quot;Drop In&apos; T.V. appearance!!! Gotta love the audio engineer properly recording both guitars, and all the vocals. So many early live recordings miss lead guitar breaks, and vocal segments and harmony&apos;s. This is a top notch youtube contribution.

Pretty much impossible for all but THE most gifted of musicians.🫡❤️ (Try patting your head while making circular motions on your stomach - tough, right? Now try tapping a regular beat with your foot at the same time for an inkling of how difficult it is to pull off)
