  I still remember last year in 12th standard, during Diwali there was a hawan in my school. And that day, I got my period. I was in so much pain yet I went to school because I was a part of student council (majdoori😂). I was helping my friend decorate the hawan room jab ek teacher ne mujhe pooja ki thali hand over karne ko boli. Maine de di. Ham class mein aa gye uske baad. There I was casually telling my friends how I was feeling that day. Itne mein ek ladki bolti ki, &quot;Tu pagal hai? Tere periods aa rakhe hain and you touched the pooja ki thali?&quot; I was so shocked, not because I was being scolded in front of everyone, but because that was coming from a girl itself. <br><br>Actually, it&apos;s a myth. Jo log bolte hain ki periods mein a girl shouldn&apos;t touch anything holy because she becomes impure is a falsely followed belief. Log bina research kiye itna zyada beliefs ko blindly follow karte hain that they forget the actual reason behind it. But hats off to you brother.
