  I think that, whilst this would be annoying in any other game, Toby’s RPG is a bullet hell hybrid, meaning he probably has to do a lot of underlying tweaking to make sure certain attacks don’t just outright kill you too fast. <br><br>For example, taking your Floradinn and Terakota example, most people would probably say that Terakota is still harder, and that’s because its bullet patterns are more complex, and sparing the Terakota takes a lot longer.

  I think Toby&apos;s slowly given up on trying to have stats outside the recruit menu, there&apos;s more jokes than numbers at this point.

  Me when we finally get to fight Gaster and he does 666,666 damage except Kris and the party don&apos;t get downed, and I suddenly feel my body convulse

  i think terracottas higher attack stat can be interpreted as a harder bullet pattern, like an enemies attack actually dictates how difficult they are to dodge (roughly)

  the stats on the recruit menu are prolly just made up to be some combination of damage but also bullet pattern difficulty and the defense stat prolly includes health / how bulky the enemy feels. deltaurne is very vibes based game design.

  I think the FRIEND bite dealing damage based your item might make sense considering that FRIEND is hunting you for your Eggs, which are also in Kris’s pocket. So FRIEND’s bite could be interpreted as attacking your inventory in an attempt to reach the Egg or smth like that

  The true strongest attack: Telling Noelle to proceed. Does so much damage it kills the remainder of the chapter and even kills the next chapter!

  Sheary isn’t the only one. Gerson also has percentage based damage in his fight.<br><br>The Knight can also do a similar thing to Sheary in their fight with the box splitter attack. Though with them, at 1 HP I believe it just misses lol.
