  Sadhu Sadhu Sadhu Bhante.<br><br>Can you please explain on what evidence you base the statement that &apos;what remains (after death) is what you&apos;ve done with the 5 khandas&apos; and &apos;...you hold on to physical attachment to the body, the thinking brain, life itself&apos;?<br><br>The Buddha taught Anatta, poorly translated through a 19th C Christian lens as &apos;no self&apos; because they couldn&apos;t bear (due to Christianity) to use the more correct translation of &apos;no soul&apos;.<br><br>If there is no everlasting self/soul, and as you said earlier, the body and mind combo is dead, what is there to be reborn? What is it that &apos;holds on to physical attachments...&apos; as you say?<br><br>Is your view that there is a magical karma machine in the sky, recording every action everybody ever makes with the 5 khandas, to then dole out reward or punishment after death, just like in Christianity but without a God? If so, what experiential evidence is this view based on?<br><br>Buddha Dhamma is Ehipassiko, to be seen directly for oneself. If it cannot be seen directly, it shouldn&apos;t be taught as one is speaking from belief rather than reality of experience.<br><br>Appreciate your talks but some clarification on this point would be beneficial, as it appears to be mundane magical thinking, rather than noble Dhamma that leads to liberation here and now. Thanks.

  Namo bhagavan. I live as a hermit because I have a strong feeling of nibbidā. I often wish to be a monk. &nbsp;Yet, &nbsp;I have lost my ambition. &nbsp;I don&apos;t feel it necessary to become Ordained. So long as I keep tru to my own vows in my heart. &nbsp;However, with this nibbidā there is a growing feeling of disgust. &nbsp;How does one balance disgust and aversion?
