I don’t understand this kind of couple at all. My late husband and I, married 46.5 years before he passed away, were lovers, partners and best friends. It’s the friendship that gets you through the rough times. I didn’t tell him what he needed to do for me, we did everything together in a way that we both benefited. Can’t imagine the chutzpah it takes to demand something like a car as a condition of continuing a relationship!

Whenever a woman makes the statement, "You think you can do better?" A real one will answer, Yep. And then move on with their life. And why do these guys not put the trash out as soon as possible? If it looks and smells like garbage, it normally is. Kick it to the curb. And the phrase: Can we talk like adults. Is so overused and never what it really means. My answer to that phrase would be, Yes, be sure to bring a competent, rational adult to talk for you.
