This interviewer is seriously one of the best. Asking the right questions and doing so much research. But also having so many ways into Viola. She’s so comfortable to go deep with this interviewer.

At the risk of sounding elitist .... there are interviewers, and then there are people with podcasts. This man is the former and I'm so glad that they still exist. Thank you Viola for allowing yourself to be prodded open. And by the way, the memoir is outstanding.

i burst into tears as she described how she felt as a child. that she felt wrong. in the wrong family, in the wrong body, in the wrong life. because that’s exactly how i felt growing up and deep down i feel that way still at 27 years old. I am so happy she found her purpose bc this world would not be the same without this wonderful woman. she is one of the greatest actors to have ever lived and should be regarded as such and should be PAID as such, and should be booked and busy as such. I hope one day God reveals to me my purpose as he did with Viola. <br><br>also SB, this interviewer is unbelievable, i have never seen such a better host with better questions. this feels like a therapy session almost. it feels like he SEES her, not just by the research he’s done, but by the way he listens and responds. I am so grateful this interview exists. Thank you both for this ❤️
