  I just have to note, the speaker is on a level we honestly don’t hear in the west. Intelligent, thoughtful, and pragmatic. It’s a tragedy that we lack such qualities in the American political elite. Rather they sound like adult children throwing a fit, repeating slogans, calling names, making up fictional stories and often times wild psychological analyses, while demanding behavior change in our favor else be destroyed. This is what we are left with and it’s a tragedy for the whole world.

  Unconditional surrender is the only practical solution for Ukraine at this point. Hitler's Germany also refused to admit defeat until Hitler killed himself, then  Keitel signed unconditional surrender. Post war settlement is Russia's business.

  Lovely conversation. &nbsp;We need more of the Russian (and in general, the non-west) perspective in the major geopolitical matters that animate us today. <br><br>One thing that I still am not able to understand is, if the US decides to stop fighting the proxy war, it seems there are deep interests inside Europe who still want to continue. &nbsp;Who are these powers and what is the end state they are looking for and how does that end state serve their interests &nbsp;?
