  That Captain America HQ had no establishing shots or windows or anything so it’s just a room of unknown dimensions sitting in a void somewhere.

  It's still baffling to me that they make a movie with Thadeus Ross and Red Hulk, and the Leader, and a cameo from Betty Ross, and not have Bruce Banner in it. He was even mentioned in the movie a lot, but never showed up. While I am not a fan of how Banner has been handled in MCU, this kinda takes the cake. A disservice to Sam as Cap too, to have his first own movie being a weird hulkless hulk movie.

  Sam telling Leader that Ross has "changed" is hilarious. Ross illegally imprisoned Sterns, experimented on him, then made him develop weapons for him before lying to him about his pardon...but sure, he's changed once he became president. Gotcha.

  Always thought it was weird that Pepper didn't set up an Avengers fund. It's the sort of thing Tony wouldn't think about (self absorbed + has always had money) but once Pepper is in control of his money she would definitely not forget to take care everyone. Being empathetic and thoughtful/careful is like her only character trait

  Misty could have replaced both of the characters working for Ross while also being that cool link to Harlem showing that they’re trying to make amends with the community destroyed by Hulk & Abomination which they mention in the movie

  What’s crazy is…I think this would be a pretty cool Hulk movie. Ruffalo interacting with all these characters from OG Hulk would have been solidly cool

  My biggest problem is they had a thriller with a traditionally power hungry character called THE LEADER turning the president of the most powerful nation on earth into a Hulk and yet, they missed the opportunity to give the Leader any sort of aspiration beyond basic revenge. This film was a decent thriller but not at all a political thriller, all the politics were aesthetic. They had a character who was perfect for the political thriller genre.

  I still find it weird that they tried to make us feel sympathetic for Thunderbolt friggin’ Ross. The dumbest and most punchable man in the MCU. The guy who hunted Bruce Banner like an animal, caused the creation of the Abomination, and broke the Avengers apart.<br>And why was he given more sympathy in the story than his greatest victim Sterns? Ross framed him for the Abomination attack, unjustly imprisoned him for 16 years, used him as a lab rat and turned him into a monster, and exploited his super intelligence with the false promise of freedom. <br>I’m not saying Leader’s actions were justified or anything. But speaking in terms of The Suicide Squad movie, he should’ve been the Starro to Ross’s Thinker.
