Great analysis! One thing about Hutson that isn't mentioned by most videos about him is that his "shimmy" / deception is so good he often fakes the camera too.

Just last night against Boston in OT. After his diving play, he fakes a pass up ice and the camera goes the wrong way lol

Hutson is a joy to watch every night. He plays the game with lyrical fluidity. We, Habs fans, have truly been blessed.

Watching Lane Hutson play hockey is a blessing for current Habs fans. We are lucky to be able to see him so often on TV, win or lose.

I remember seeing a clip of one of Hutsons old teammates talking about how in practice everybody knows there’s a fake coming and yet they still get burned by it every time lol but that’s just one facet of his game. His gas tank is bottomless. He’s fast as shit. Edge work is among the absolute best the league has ever seen. He’s got silky mitts and his hockey IQ is on another planet. And he’s still just a kid. Gonna be fun to see how he develops into his mid 20’s and beyond.

I'll never get over the fact that he was the 62nd pick in the draft. Top 10 draft steal ever?

Hutson has changed the game of hockey! It's so beautiful to watch him play! He's always making magic on the ice whether he scores a point or not. He's nothing but art. What a masterpiece he is! Montreal is so lucky to have drafted him

Habs got the best two kids from that draft year, and it's gonna give them a 10-year contention window as the reward.

Great vid. As a life long Habs fan (48 years) and a couple of decades of grief, I'm genuinely excited to watch their games again. Love this team!!

After basking in the glorious years of the 60's and 70's, I never thought I would see another iteration of the Habs that is this exciting. Hudson is the epitome of that excitement. Go Habs Go!
