  I do enjoy Northern Hemispheres a lot. It’s one of the few early video game themes to focus on the harshness of winter. Very dramatic and eerie.

  Now that&apos;s a phenomenal way to close out your coverage on this game. As your list shows, this type of challenge offers a refreshing take on DKC that could drastically alter your perspective on many levels. I&apos;d implore anybody who is even a little curious to try it out for themselves. It&apos;s a unique and fun experience. It was also really fun to watch this video. The animation with the sound effects was so cool, hearing your insight is always engaging and there are so many little details about the game being shown off here that many people may have missed. The sheer amount of effort and refinement that has gone into this video is undeniably impressive. Awesome job, dude!

  In DKC3, the TUFST cheat code removes all midway barrels and all but four DK barrels. The only DK barrel &quot;required&quot; is in the third bonus room of Swoopy Salvo (since the team throw mechanic is needed to collect the 20 stars), but it&apos;s a moot point since the challenge skips bonus rooms anyway.

  It&apos;s a little odd that in the first 2 Donkey Kong games the secondary character was usually better

  I did a rom hack of the trilogy. I was able to get rid of all the DK barrels and star midway barrels but not the ones in the boss, cause it didn&apos;t let me. With the editor it let me have the starting Kong as Diddy. It didn&apos;t let me add a barrel and forgot about second temple level. I had to redo everything in the editor and change that one DK barrel. With DKC2 it was just Kaptain K. Rool in world 7. It&apos;s floating so no deal on that. DKC3 it appeared on the Bleak the snowman, Baron K. Roolenstein and after the level and the second round in the Lost World. It was a fun challenge. But leaving that intact, I would bang my head against the wall.

  This game felt like a challenge even with diddy and checkpoints when i used to play it years ago, i wouldn&apos;t even dare to play it as just kong, i end up going insane, proof i didn&apos;t get that far i didn&apos;t even know there was dark levels.
