One of the most dominant runs in NCAA tournament history. All wins by double digits, led all but 10 minutes of the tournament.

That 2009 Tarheel Team was the best, and I'm a 55 yrs fan...love rewatching every game of that years tournament...

UNC was practically an NBA team at this point.

So wonderful to see a replay of this game. I remember it like it was yesterday. Still admire Tyler Hansbrough as one of the best to ever wear the Carolina blue. Thanks for the memories.

Showing my bias here. One of the most impressive wins by North Carolina in program history. 70,000 plus in attendance. 60,000 were Michigan State fans. Cheering for the Spartans 3rd National Championship. And the Heels didn't flinch one bit in an environment like that.

I think the Spartans needed alot of energy and effort to beat UConn just to get to the Final. Carolina was just a machine that year. But my Spartans had a great run. Izzo got every bit of talent out of that group.

Fun Fact: This was the biggest win for Michigan football since 1948.

This is the basketball team that made me love college basketball and made me learn and play street ball all the time during the summer. Thanks for the nostalgia trip! I still remember screaming in my room this whole game knowing it was never gonna be a game since the tip. Those boys were cold

Watching this after the 2022 championship. Today was tough but I feel optimistic for the programs future. This is encouraging that Carolina can bounce back after another tough loss to KU
