  I was on the grounds crew of 3 golf courses over a decade, and studied to be a superintendent for about a year. While there are some factual info in this video. Overall a lot of the info in this video isn’t going to magically make your lawn look like a golf course. Airration is much more important on a golf green then it is anywhere else on a golf course, and way way more crucial then in our lawns. Yes it’s still a good idea and there are benifits. It’s not going to solve the issues you likely have. <br><br>Golf courses get a bunch of inputs via fungacides, herbacides and fertilizers. Golf greens also have very good drainage, and golf courses will often water daily in the summer. They also cut grass daily which is one of the best methods of improving turf (mow more often will improve your turf) Maintenance is very expensive, most arent going the nstural route but some do. <br><br>If you want a budget lawn, simply get urea fert 46-0-0 (cheapest) use box store herbacides and don’t get carried away with using them, watxh for fungus and maybe pre treat during summer, and mow and water as needed (mow more then you are now). It’s not that complicated, and you don’t need a lot of the stuff people talk about here in YT

  Search growth or lush growth is driven by soil temperature not fertilizer. People that overwater their lawn in the summertime when it’s very very hot reduce soil temperature down to where leaf growth is very active similar to that in the springtime.

  One is also a business employing staff and resources dedicated to turf management, the other is a homeowner trying to do their best with limited time and funds. Can&apos;t really compare the two fairly.

  golf courses use fungicides...my home lawn never sees it. &nbsp;Golf courses water far more than me in the summer so they need fungicides to overcome heat related disease.

  The wrong fertilizers r sold to the public in the uk... they all have tooo much nitrogen in them.. this grows the grass quickly and you feel like its a good product... thats wrong..<br>Have more &nbsp;phosphate and potassium. .. this makes the root and the plant stronger..<br>In the industry &nbsp;we ssy aeration , aeration &nbsp;aeration.<br>The oxygen attaches &nbsp;to &nbsp;the the minerals changing it &nbsp;position in the soil.😂😂😂

  Golf course!?! Rabbits, birds and worms supply all the materials and labor for my natural lawn all for no charge including free delivery! All I do is mow and get out of the way...
