I just realized that MGK’s so blessed that Killshot was written by Eminem instead of Slim Shady

The bar about Diddy and Pac was actually GENIUS. Because after this disstrack, no one focused on MGK but on this bar. Therefore, he died in total anonymity.

MGK even had the nerve to say this killshot missed him, then switched careers and makes rock music now

No one has ever talked about the cover art of this disstrack. I'm a graphic designer and I tip my hat to the artist of the wallpaper of this track. Notice how the red dot flashes (like when a gun is shot) everytime you hit the play button? Perfectly placed and uses high-level UX design allowing you to interact with the song on another level. The obvious meaning is that MGK is shot and killed every single time this track is played. And it's been played over a couple million times. Which means he's been shot in the head over a million times and died over a million times.

The deeper meaning is essentially everytime anyone plays this he is "shooting" MGK in the head. And Eminem is sending a "warning" to MGK that the shooter can be anybody. It could be you - the guy reading this comment thinking I'm reaching with this analysis. or it could be me. It could be your friend. Or your friend's friend. It could be the guy on the table to your left sipping a coffee looking at his phone. The point is this - if you don't heed the warning signs the killshot will come from anywhere or anyone.

This warning is further proven by the "fish bone" earings MGK is wearing in the wallpaper. There's an urban legend that in the 40's sicilian mafia would leave a fish bone in front of your doorstep as a warning that you pissed off the wrong person and bad things are about to happen to you.

Anyone who crosses the wrong people back in the day would "suddenly disappear". These victims would then be tortured and killed, and their dead bodies dropped in a swamp, or a pond or in a lake to be left "swimming with the dead fishes". Hence, dead fishbone.

What I see is that the whole track is not even a warning anymore but a threat to MGKs life.

Once you've read the dictionary every other book is just a remix.

This man caught every bar in this track, probably the best breakdown of killshot

Killshot is a 2009 movie where a character named Colson is tracked by a Marshall, and is eventually gunned down in the finale
