  The magic system was one of the big things at sold me on this game. It started strong then became more streamlined during development

  You guys aren&apos;t crazy - having read and played the system, I think it&apos;s my new go-to. And it has a lot going for it, but it does read a little clunkily. There is some improvement that could be made to the conceptual layout of the system and rules themselves - but that&apos;s not usually something accomplished by the game mechanic designer themselves.

  I actually think that not having spells completely spelled out is a boon. &nbsp;That is the conversation that is fun to have with the GM, not whether or not something hit.

  Always wanted a system that feels like controlling magic like Cypher in the Castlevania Series does. I&apos;m so glad to have stumbled upon this ❤

  Great Video. Thank you. Wasn&apos;t aware how Vagabond actually works but does sound great for your standard sword and sorcery fantasy. I&apos;ll look into it

  First time I have seen a video by Tabletop Trends. Love the way you do you videos with the inserted commentary, and its not commentary for commentary&apos;s sake - its substantive. Love your channel!

  Great video, I&apos;ve &nbsp;been curious about vagabond for a while now and this was very informative <br>Also the discussion at <a href="https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=QLviuglVJpg&amp;t=1429">23:49</a> was very interesting and I completely agree, thats why im sad that they abandoned inspiration on nat 20s in the one dnd playtest. Its made 20s matter even when they don&apos;t change the result. My table has been playing with that rule for over a year now and its such a joy.
