  I think something I’m learning is that discernment is not just about recognizing truth in someone else, it’s also about examining my own heart while I’m recognizing it.<br><br>I listened to this and initially thought, “Wow, this could really help certain people I know.” But then I noticed that part of me felt a little too relieved or excited at the idea of sending it to them, and that made me pause and question my motives.<br><br>So now I’m sitting with this realization that sometimes our motives can be mixed. We may genuinely want to help someone, while also feeling frustration, validation, or relief because something finally explains difficult dynamics we’ve experienced.<br><br>I don’t think maturity is pretending those mixed emotions don’t exist. I think maturity is being honest enough to notice them before acting.<br><br>Not every insight is automatically an assignment to confront someone. Sometimes God shows us things to increase compassion, wisdom, patience, or prayer, not just correction.<br><br>Still learning that truth shared in love requires the right posture, not just accurate information.

  I like it when you bring visitors but I loooove it without visitors. Sometimes with visitors I would skip a podcast or two but when it’s just you guys, I never miss an episode.
