  Dementia is .. one of the worst, maybe THE worst - for people around them. &nbsp;You see their shape, their face, you hear their voice - but THEY are not there anymore.<br>To be able to sing for your loved one - in this way - both the singer and her mother have a precious memory - that will last with the singer for a long time.<br>Wishing her, and her mother many happy memories yet to make.

  I loved that Ronan went over to Richard Marx to hug him after he shared that he too, lost his mom to Dementia and how hard it was to lose her. &nbsp;I get it, I lost my loving mother the same way...and the night she died I was 500 miles away from her, but as I watered my neighbors flowers I felt her leaving me at exactly 1:14am and told her goodbye and I love you, Momma. &nbsp;I found out that she indeed was taken home at exactly 1:14am. &nbsp;So glad you are not in anymore pain, Momma...I miss you and love you...be free with Jesus.

  I am 69 years old and I have been diagnosed with early signs of dementia. &nbsp;My son has been amazing in setting care and assisted living in Duncan BC Canada. I was a care aide for many years and now I need care. I’m moving to Vancouver Island into assisted living apartment. &nbsp;This audition broke me. I know my son and daughter love me so I will be ok. I pray I don’t get mean.I know that may get angry as I may become mean. I am hopeful as time passes knowing I am loved. God Bless those who suffer from Dementia.

  My Mom passed away from Alheimers Disease at 54. &nbsp;Bless her soul. 🙏

  LOVE Richard. I was in high school in the 80&apos;s his music got me through. I have worked my whole adult life with alzhiemer and dementia patients in facilities and their homes. My heart goes out to them and anyone out there caring for a loved one. Big hug to all of you❤

  My mom also developed early onset Alzheimer&apos;s. The moment that just destroyed my was when she no longer remembered who I was. I was her first born son.

  When a performer reduces the judges to tears, and the audience, and the people viewing at home, that person doesn&apos;t just sing, they have a special grace. &nbsp;Then when she reveals that the ministers to her mother as afull time carer!!!!<br>I pray this girl keeps the purity of her gifting - her voice could bring healing to so many people.
