  The real problem with BK is the utter lack of STANDARDS.  Each store is hit or miss.  Each meal is either AMAZING or deadly.

  I think the fact that a fast food meal is almost equivalent in price to a normal restaurant meal that makes sales shrink. 9 dollars for a fast food burger is insane

  When there’s two potheads running the store, it’s $30 for two meals, a 20 minute wait, and the fact that it might be inedible is a big factor

  When I was a kid in the 70s, BK burgers were flame broiled and the burn lines were real. As in actually cooked over fire

  Burger King used to taste fresh. The meat used to still have some juice in it, the toppings used to be crisp, and now the meat taste like it’s beef jerky, and the toppings are at least several days old.

  A Burger King manager towed our car out of their parking lot in 2005. Haven’t been back since.

  It’s the customer service. I’ve never been to a Burger King that had friendly employees/professional atmosphere. A BK opened in my town and within a year it went out of business, which is insane considering this is a university town with countless thriving restaurants. People decided to stay away from BK because the employees were rude and the food wasn’t quality. Nothing was ever fresh.

  I went in to a Burger King a few years ago. A manager was in the back of the lobby doing paperwork. I could see someone mopping in the back. I stood at the front counter for five minutes and finally just left. That Burger King is now closed. I wonder why!

  The biggest problems with burger king is poor service, poor advertising, and horrible fries.  Fix those, I'd bet they would contend for number 1.

  The original chicken sandwich with cheese is really good the problem with Burger King though for me is that the food is so heavy that you almost always get sick after
