  I wish Sony would bring back the Mini Disc, with today’s technology- the units and decks would be amazing !!!

  Minidisc was one of those formats I'd love to have had back when it was mainstream. It would have beat the hell out of having a CD portfolio tossed in my backpack with a huge player in my backpack.

  I got a HiMD recorder in 2006 for recording our college choir concert tour of Italy. I&apos;m very glad I held onto it. I actually didn&apos;t use the 1GB minidiscs much -- you could also use the regular minidiscs, so I did that pretty often.

  I don&apos;t own any midiscs and didn&apos;t even know they existed up until a few years ago, but man I am in love with their designs. Best way I can describe it is &quot;retro futuristic&quot;.

  I got a 2000s Kenwood CD and MD player from Japan a month or so ago from a family member that lives there and it introduced me to this media that I never knew existed. Along with it, I got a bunch of empty MDs that I&apos;m itching to record music on! It&apos;s such a cool retrofuturistic media, I love it.
