  What a load of old rubbish this clip is. &quot;By night, he was an executioner.&quot; He never doubted himself. Read his book. Listen to the family and friends describe him in various filmed interviews. This was very poorly researched and presented.

  Albert Pierrepoint carried out 433 executions between 1932 and 1955 - which includes 16 females - he also observed at one execution before actually directly participating in an execution .... “Albert Pierrepoint Casebook (1932-1955) – Thirty Cases” .... m:)

  He should have been the hangman at Nuremberg instead of that American he would have done a better job and the men would not of suffered and they would not of strangled they would have died straight away.

  Although I &apos;m against the death penalty, I thing it must be reintroduced for certain crimes . EG . Belfield , Lee Rigby &apos;s killers .

  We don&apos;t use capital punishment now, perhaps we should bring it back, the horrors that are going on need a strong deterant. &nbsp;If it doesn&apos;t stop murders at least those who perpetrate can&apos;t do it again.

  When he got the job executing those war criminals he was given the honorary rank of Lt. Colonel. My ( Late) accountant&apos;s dad was his batman.

  What’s…’ notorious’..about him? He worked on behalf of the Home Office, set up apparatus and pulled a lever.
