Incredible Frankl didn't think this book deserved attention when this is probably the most important psychological book ever written

Viktor Frankl's "Man’s Search for Meaning" (1946) argues that finding meaning, not pleasure, is the primary human drive, even in suffering. Frankl, a psychiatrist and Holocaust survivor, presents Logotherapy to show that even in the direst circumstances (Auschwitz), people can choose their attitude to find purpose, rather than just surviving

I was already knowing that the rat race of the 9 to 5 job and accumulating things just to go to bed and wait for the weekend to start trying to enjoy life. I escaped it only to experience the freedom of the dream life for a short period of time and lose it. I can’t help but think that it would have been amazing but every time I made a goal, I always got used to it. I don’t know how to reinvent myself and I given up. I don’t want to give up but I already did all I regret and hate. I listen to your videos. I’m trying to find a lifeline and I don’t find anything. I think I’m dead.

Commenting mainly in algorithmic support of this channel. The Temporal Nomad covers and brilliantly explains the subjects that REALLY matter. Channels like this are more important than they know

Frankl didn’t “lose” his family, they were murdered. And he wasn’t in a difficult camp, he was in Auschwitz. His life was murdered and he, the insightful, found a reason to live.
