Caleb was not a bad opponent at all. Actually put up a better fight than a lot of others.

This was the first episode I ever saw. A friend told me about this new show "Highlander" and even gave me a brief rundown of immortals, their ways, and such when I was in high school. I watched this episode the following Saturday. After MacLeod jumped off the ledge, came back to life (bones cracking back into place), climbed up the cliff, and then took everybody out I knew I was hooked!

Duncan had enough honor to bury Caleb with respect even though they were enemies.

I love how the Sheriff is totally cool with Duncan casually burying the guy he just beheaded with an axe. “Let’s move out guys and let’s just pretend this didn’t happen”.

"First, I'll take your quickening. And then, I'll take your woman!" Love that line. :D

I can’t believe I’ve seen this episode at least half a dozen times and only now realized it’s the Beastmaster versus the Highlander.

These "mountain men" sound more so like they're from Appalachia rather than the Pacific Northwest.

When Duncan jumped off the cliff, I'm sure he was thinking this: "The things I go through for that woman." When he revived he likely thought this "Whoever said love hurts, wasn't kidding"
