Apologize for the audio at minutes 5 to 7 if you're listening in headphones! We had a technical issue that split the voice + music and I had to manually go through and fix every clip (don't want to talk about how long that took haha), and some how missed those few chunks UGHHHH! sorry about that!

Hi 7 km pace runner here who has run multiple half and full marathons. If anyone is hoping to run a marathon please know 90 days is a pretty fast training if you are a beginner. Keltie accomplished something great and she has been a professional fitness influencer for years now. The marathon is a different beast and she had a really strong baseline of fitness, access to support from equipment from brands (runna, shoes, etc.), and this is her job. I just trained for my 2nd marathon for 24 week and 60 min 10k is still fast for me vs it is Keltie "humbling herself". If you are training for anything-- good luck, eat up, hydrate, and remember everyone's training is their own 🫶

Honestly, setting enjoying the race as a goal has been a game changer that’s led me to several PBs in the past few months. The power of that joy and excitement still surprises me. Highly recommend chasing enjoyment as a primary goal and maybe a specific goal time as a secondary goal

Keltie, I am sooooo proud of you! I am 66 years old started running long before it was cool. I ran track in college including a marathon. It was so fun to watch your journey compared to mine. Back in my day it was beat yourself with miles (120 mile weeks🫠)not the commonsense training of today. Even so I loved every second of it. I contined to run and bodybuild after college well into menopause. During menopause I decide to make my own race and run the Grand Canyon. Yes I did but tore my meniscus doing it. After 70% was remove the dr said no more running. Of course I disobeyed and after 6 months I could tell it was a bad path. So I took up mountain biking. It has been a suitable replacement for my daily desert mountain running. I still ride the same trails I used to run and have new mtb trails. Life is great. Sometimes you have to pivot. Once an athlete, always an athlete. Thats why I love your channel. Even though I am more than twice your age, I still do similar things. This marathon docuvideo was purely from your heart and it warmed my heart❤
