  As a non-reseller, I enjoy going to garage sales but the predatory way Kayla was acting takes all of the fun out of it. I would be ticked off too if she started digging in the pile I had managed to set aside before she snatched it away. “Clearing the shelves” is fine, it’s the manner in which they did it that was wrong. The considerate thing to do would have been to allow other shoppers to purchase some of the things they wanted and purchase the rest. Even if it was another reseller, offer to split the bounty with them.  You don’t need to keep it all for yourself. That is called greed. For the sake of a few dollars, they were rude and inconsiderate to their neighbors.

  This was a garage sale, not Walmart or Walgreens or some other retail store. Clearing the shelves in a retail store is considered rude, but buying everything from a garage sale is perfectly acceptable. Matt and Kayla get up early to get to these sales. It is 1st come, 1st served and to deliberately go out of your way to be angry about someone getting a deal before you is just ridiculous.

  Man I love yard sales but those two were on a manic greed grab!  She was so busy snatching up stuff, almost including what that older woman had, she deserved that annoyed 'This is mine' from her but the way she retorted with SORRY! back to her was uncalled for and disrespectful.  No more yard sales with them for me.  They were just obnoxious.

  That lady everything you touched she was all over.  That thing at the end that held up the signs was already up and didn't care about it until Kayla went up and touched it

  The greed is what is so bad now days.  They got each Jim Shore for $5 and then flipped them for very high prices, they could have sold each for $30  and still made a profit of $25 on each. When you get a SUPER deal pass on a savings to someone else while still profiting, the Greed is Gross!!!

  The greedy grabbing, digging thru totes before she even priced items was ridiculous, I have second hand embarrassment. Then they film themselves 🙄

  I understand respecting your elders..but sometimes you have to stick up for yourself (which you did, to an extent). I feel like you almost need to just ask that gal if there is an issue. If she was someone you'd never run into again, let it go..but she is someone you encounter a lot. Sometimes people's attitudes will change after being confronted about their ugly behavior. You've given a lot of grace but she seems to be taking the grace as a weakness. Sticking up for yourself isn't rude, its a necessity. Can almost guarantee she will be more pleasant in the future. 🤞

  Oh my, I thought that lady was gonna&apos; knock you over while you were gandering through that box of purses. Then her reaction :face-orange-frowning:when you accidentally touched her bag, and she also had NO INTEREST in those hanging clothes until you decided to peek at them!! Just shake them off some people - better to just avoid individuals like that!
