  The real Nikki trying to take control of her own body back the entire time was so haunting! Like the way she was screaming her lungs out in the customer service call!? That's the most disturbing part.

  I work in a movie theater, and when this movie came out, I saw four different instances of couples sitting on the benches after the movie having a real, serious discussion about themselves. One of them was a girl approaching her partner, who was silent and bent over, as she said "I'm sorry, I didn't think that movie was going to effect you so much". No arguments, nothing dramatic, but it was clear to me early on that part of the movie's success was that it WAS connecting with people on an emotional level. This, and Haunting of Hill House, are testaments to how important emotional content is to truly effective horror stories.

  Inde Navarrette was easily one of the best parts of Obsession. She brought real depth and emotion to the character, and every scene she was in felt genuine. She definitely left a lasting impression.

  This is why the genie in Aladdin said one of the wishes he wouldn&apos;t do is make people fall in love. He literally said he didn&apos;t like doing it, cause it&apos;s not pretty in the end.
