My first car was one like this, a 230E, also in silver, and it gave you that special old school mercedes feel. It was not just a car, but a Mercedes. They were in a class by themselves.

Good, old, Edd China. Teaching people how to work on cars. Sad that it ended the way it did, and the production wanted to cut his work down to a collage. <br><br>Hope he is getting them residuals for this stuff. It's still gold.

A great thing with Mercedes bonnet hinges is how you can open the bonnet to a near 90 degree for access. As I recall, this applies to 123/124/210/211 series and probably several others, too.

Stuff like this - the old Wheeler Dealers, inspired me to work on my own cars! No need to fear of a bit of paint or elbow grease, anyone can do it, if you're patient enough!
