eevee learns Bite at 30. it turns jolteon into a speedy psychic sweeper on top of all the water and fliers.

I'm intending to catch the legendary birds with Magneton and Slowbro.

Also, Squirtle learns Bite, which in gen 3 is Special. Which means it wrecks Psychics.

Just for fun I did a playthrough without catching a single Pokemon, or as you may call a Free to play team. I could only use given or bought Pokemons, I ended up with the fossils Pokemons, Lapras, Hitmonlee, Jolteon, Venusaur, I could use a Magikarp you can buy in Mt Moon Pokemon center and evolve it into Gyarados but Lapras already covered water/ice, plus a damn tank, even though it's slow af. It was not the best team I ever used, but it was a fun challenge, full maxed 100 lvl
